SEPTEMBER
- September 19–21: Wellness Retreat. Temple hostess Anette Huila's popular wellness retreat offers a wonderful weekend in the outer archipelago: "We enjoy the peace of the archipelago, breathe in the fresh sea air, practice gentle Hatha yoga, relax with sound bowls, eat well, spend time outdoors, bathe in the sauna, and swim. We disconnect from everyday life and the mainland, and give ourselves the gift of time." More information coming soon.
OCTOBER
- October 10–19: Dark Örö. On Örö Fortress Island, located in the Archipelago National Park, we once again embrace the magic of darkness in October! The absence of snow and the dark autumn sea wrap the island in shadows – only the stars shimmer in the sky. During the weekend of October 10–12, there will be guided workshops and programs focusing on space and insects.
From October 13–19, you can enjoy self-guided activities at your own pace – such as the island's fairytale trail and "Milky Way" path. The workshops will remain open for independent crafting. During the week, you'll have the chance to face your fear of the dark – and maybe even leave it behind on the island.
The program is free of charge, suitable for all ages, and arranged with safety in mind. During Dark Örö, you can either stay on the island for several days or make a day trip.
